Usage Guide: Mooring Buoy with Chain
- Prepare a PVC pipe (Schedule 40) with dimensions 1.5″ x 1.9″ (inner diameter x outer diameter).
- Lubricate the buoy’s tube and the rigid PVC pipe before inflating the buoy.
- Cut the pipe so that it extends 3 inches beyond the top and bottom of the buoy.
- Insert an appropriately sized pin for the intended load through the top of the pipe.
- Attach a shackle to the chain and secure it to the bottom of the buoy.
