Pickleball, a sport for everyone.

It’s a blend of several sports, including :

tennis, for its movements, badminton, for the dimensions of the court (20′ x 44′), table tennis, for the rigid surface racket and racketball, for the size of the racket.

It is played in doubles and singles, indoors (autumn, winter) and outdoors (summer), on a hard surface.

As with most racket sports, the aim of the game is to send the ball into your opponent’s court without him being able to return it, so as to score as many points as possible.

The net is set at a height of 34 inches at the center and 36 inches at the outer lines, two inches lower than in tennis.

The rules are designed to encourage exchanges and are very similar to those of tennis. The ball is made of plastic with holes, similar to those used in cosom field hockey. Pickleball has many advantages.

It’s much easier to play and, above all, less demanding on muscles and joints than other racket sports.Pickleball can be played by people of all ages and is considered by some enthusiasts to be a fountain of youth.
