RUDDER STUFFING BOX 11\4”,

Heavy duty cast rudder bronze stuffing box 11\4” with precision machined threads.  Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of both commercial and recreational mariners who prefer a traditional shaft sealing system.  Reinforced mounting flange can be cut to size to fit a variety of applications including Downeast style lobster boats with narrow keels.

Our heavy duty traditional bronze stuffing boxes offer exceptional quality, safety, performance, and value.  They are machined from full body cast bronze; in other words, we don’t create void spaces and false shoulders in our stuffing boxes to save on material or construction costs.

We recommend three rows of Duramax Ultra-X packing be used when packing our traditional bronze stuffing boxes and self-aligning shaft seals.  Refer to our specifications tab below for correct packing size.
