The bottom longline is a robust and versatile commercial fishing gear designed for catching demersal (bottom-dwelling) species such as cod, halibut, haddock, and other groundfish.
It is built for efficiency, durability, and reliability in the most demanding marine conditions.

The longline consists of a main line anchored to the seabed, to which secondary lines (snoods or branch lines) equipped with baited hooks are attached at regular intervals.
Surface buoys or marker floats, connected by vertical drop lines, ensure accurate positioning and easy retrieval.

Manufactured from marine-grade materials such as high-strength monofilament, polyethylene braid, or polyester, combined with stainless steel swivels and Mustad hooks, this longline provides excellent resistance to abrasion, salt, and pressure.

Available in custom lengths and hook spacings, with a variety of float and anchor options, it can be tailored to meet specific fishing operations.
