Technical Design & Construction

The seine is constructed in five distinct sections, providing optimal performance, durability, and fish retention during deployment and hauling:

• Central section (bunt / pocket)

  • Manufactured with a larger twine diameter for increased strength

  • Designed to effectively concentrate and retain fish

• Wing sections

  • Larger mesh sizes to efficiently guide fish toward the center

  • Mesh configuration varies depending on the targeted species

All mesh sizes can be customized according to the species targeted, fishing conditions, and operational requirements.

Enhanced Buoyancy & Stability

• Heavier flotation system to maintain proper net opening at the surface

• Increased lead weighting for improved bottom contact and stability

• Floats spaced every 18 inches to ensure consistent buoyancy

• Double or triple headline and footrope, depending on strength and durability needs
