MULTFILAMENT EXPERIMENTAL GILLNET

Our experimental Gillnets are made of nylon multfilament yarn. They are mounted at a 25% ratio.

White or green in color, the wire diameters are relatively proportionate to the different mesh sizes.

SINGLE PANEL

Small nets from 1/2“ to 4” are fitted with a floating and a leaded headrope. Nets with larger mesh sizes

are generally fitted with a float line and a heavier weighted braid.

However, please note that we also manufacture your gillnets to your specifications.

These experimental Multifilament gillnets are designed to survey certain lakes and rivers in order to carry out

to study fish populations in a given territory.

Multifilament wire diameters are:

1/2” to 1 1/2″ for 210d/2

2”and , 2 1/2” for 210d/3

3”and 4” for 210d/9

5“, 6” for210d/15

Dimensions in bold are those used by default.

Thread length:

25′ 50′, 75′, 100′, 150′, 200′, 300′, 400′ 600′

Thread depth:

6′, 6.5′, and 8′ when available.
